  23. Well I have a nasty example of sw prices changing across platforms. We
  24. were looking into picking up a used 4 processor Onyx the other day and
  25. I was pricing sw for it. Matador and Advance costs $29K on an Indigo
  26. but $49K on an Onyx. These are virtually the same platform using the
  27. same cpus and OS, but the greedy goofs at Avid seem to think one version
  28. should cost twice as much. Even though the Onyx was a steal, this changed
  29. my mind about snatching it up.
